Statistical Analysis with Matomo
We use Matomo for the statistical analysis of the use of this website.
Matomo is used exclusively for the server-side analysis of server log files generated during the operation of this website. No Matomo JavaScript tracking is integrated into the website itself. Matomo therefore does not set any analytics or tracking cookies on your device when you visit this website.
The analysis is performed on a locally operated system of our commissioned IT service provider. There is no connection to Matomo Cloud. The analytics data is not transmitted to Matomo or other external providers for analytics or advertising purposes.
IP addresses are anonymised during statistical processing. For IPv4 addresses, the last two octets are removed or set to zero. For example, an IP address in the form 192.168.123.123 is shortened to 192.168.0.0. This significantly reduces the possibility of associating the analysed data with a specific internet connection.
The statistical analysis is used exclusively to obtain information about the use of our website and to improve our website from a technical and content perspective.

Cookies
On our website itself, we generally only use cookies that are necessary for the technical operation of the website.
The Joomla content management system used on this website may set a randomly generated session cookie. This cookie is used for technical session management and is not used for analytics, advertising or tracking purposes. The session cookie is generally deleted when the browser session ends.

Online Booking via TBooking
We integrate the external TBooking booking system into our website to enable visitors to search for available accommodation and make online bookings.
The booking interface is embedded directly into our online booking page as an external iframe from tbooking.toubiz.de. When you access the online booking page, your browser therefore automatically establishes a connection to the servers of the booking service in order to display the booking interface.
For technical reasons, data is transmitted to the provider of the booking system when this connection is established. This may include, in particular, your IP address, the date and time of access, information about the browser and operating system used and the page accessed.
Cookies or comparable technologies may be used within the embedded booking system where necessary for providing and carrying out the online booking functionality. We have only limited influence over the nature, scope and storage duration of cookies used by the external booking system.
If you submit an enquiry or make a booking using the booking interface, the information you enter there will also be processed. This may include, in particular, your name, contact details, requested travel dates, number of travellers, information regarding the requested accommodation and other information required to process your enquiry or booking.
The processing of data provided in connection with a specific booking enquiry or booking is carried out for the purpose of taking steps prior to entering into a contract or for the performance of the accommodation contract in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
The booking interface and the associated data processing are technically provided by the external booking service. If you contact us by email or telephone, the personal data you provide will be processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any subsequent questions.
If your enquiry relates to steps prior to entering into a contract or to the performance of a contract, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in processing and responding to your enquiry.
The data provided will only be stored for as long as necessary to process your enquiry or for as long as statutory retention obligations apply.
